WHAT'S HAPPENING BROTHER

Those that remember my blogs...they often were a little political...this is one of those times...

So here we are,  2016 & I sit here & think about how much things have not changed where it matters.

My father told me that the world would get more & more right wing, Nationalism will increase…& here we are seeing all of this now. As a society that is supposed to live together, grow together & even prosper together…we are failing.

But whose failing who here. Are we failing ourselves because we sit by & let it happen. Are our leaders failing because they bow to Business & the almighty coin & the short sightedness that that brings.

I wrote a long time ago about the lack of heroes in our world. I grew up with an abundance of people we could look up to. People who made a stand & fought for their rights & by doing so, ours too. Muhammad Ali was the last one that rocked my world & for me the last one in HH Dalai Lama.

Syria is just another victim on a list of innocents, & what about USA. Civil rights are worse than ever before.  Black people being killed for what ? The US Police will quite openly shoot dead an innocent black man, but take a White Rapist carefully into custody. The powers that Be stand in shock & ridicule further the communities reaction to all this. When were we all deemed Stupid & Ignorant.

Will it ever get better, or is it that it will get worse before it gets better ? How worse does it have to get ?

& Then there is the threat of Trump in November…here are the real Stupid & Ignorant fools. Let’s not laugh too much here as the polls are neck & neck…this is a potential outcome that I am not looking forward to…& if there was ever a god & proof was needed…bring some divine intervention here please. Make a believer out of me…

We are certainly living in some crazy times right now…
